Trip to Weston Missouri

For Valentines day, Christina decided to surprise me with a trip out to Weston MO for a day with our really good friends.  We decided to visit a couple of the wineries and eat lunch at the O’Mally’s, an Irish Pub next door to Weston Brewing Company.  The food is awesome there.  We had a great time visiting the wineries and just hanging out around town.  While visiting Pirtle winery, and Jowler Creek winery, we decided to start a tour of Missouri wineries and have begun keeping a record in our winery passport.  Here’s a few glimpses into our trip.

Mark Gungor- Laugh Your Way to a Better Marraige

We were fortunate to shoot photos tonight at “laugh your way to a better marriage” at Olathe Bible Church.  Mark Gungor was once again insightful, hilariously funny, and very approachable to all who attended.  We would highly recommend checking out his conferences if you have the opportunity.

Also the band that played was amazing.  The Rev. Jimmie Bratcher can really play the blues!  Tim Gonzalez on Harmonica blew me away, he was the perfect companion to Jimmie’s shredding guitar and the sweet ivory tickling from Mark Gungor.  Check them out on itunes.

True Lacrosse Camp

Our oldest son, Brandon had the opportunity to attend the True Lacrosse Pro Camp this year at 68 sports in Overland Park.  All of the kids had a great time and learned lots from all of the professional lacrosse players.

KC PUG meeting

The Kansas City Pictage User Group met last night for an evening of learning, socializing, and good food. Thanks to Spin pizza for allowing us to meet in their establishment, and to Sara Tafoya for sharing some good tips with other local photographers.
